Our Reunion Was Held OnAugust 26, 2021
Our much anticipated 61st year reunion has now come and gone. On August 26, 2021 many of us gathered at Rudy's Redeye in White Bear Lake, MN.
If you were not able to be there you should know that you were missed.
The reunion committee did a great job of organizing and executing a plan that was over two years in the making due to the disruption caused by the pandemic. There was a great social period prior to the short formal program. Karlind Moller welcomed everyone on behalf of the Reunion Committee that has been planning this reunion.The other committee members were John Bergman, Gary Isaacson, Joy Lescarbeau Johnson, Kris Johnson LeMire, Bruce Kamp, Sue Fehr Moller, Karen Edhlund Stack, Carol Peterson, and Bruce Bauer. Karlind then introduced our class advisor, Harvey Davis, who spoke of his deep feelings for our class of 1960. This was followed by a slide show reminding us of the main reasons for being there that night.We were then treated to a great buffet meal provided by Rudy's followed by the serving of a cake commemorating the evening. The rest of the evening was left to the over 130 classmates and guests to come together for a night of:§ Remembering:
Plus there was music from our fabulous fifties along with a chance for many to trythe dance moves that they used to put on display in the old gym on York St. atthe school dances.From all the feedback that has been received the evening was a total success with the one exception that it is felt that more wanted to attend had it not been for the health concern of the pandemic.If you took pictures that night, or for that matter in the days leading up to it and after, and wish to share them please forward them to our email at johnsonhigh1960@gmail.com and we will see that they get published on our website.Going forward our plan is to continue to maintain this website for purposes of helping us all stay in touch. As you hear about events that may be of interest to us as a class we will publish them here.
